Hello, and welcome to my online sketchbook & journal. I will be posting sketches, storyboards, cartoons, work
in progress and new stuff here. And I will update on a regular basis. Please leave a comment if you feel so inclined. 647-705-9010 sketchartist.tv@gmail.com
This packaging illustration for a schoolyard equipment manufacturer
went from rough sketch to final art with very few changes. The 'negative
space' at the top and left on the final artwork is for the art dept to place
their type. As is often the case, I've never seen the printed piece.
Here are two further variations on a new crest design for 'St. Michael's
Homes' in Toronto. Rendered with black and red ball point pens, these sketches represent a strictly two color treatment. The final version will be completed as a vector graphic in 'illustrator' or 'inkscape'.
Two rough sketches for a power point presentation. A little
whimsical content can be very helpful putting over potentially
'dry' subject matter. I'll finish these in ink, then digital color.
This is another rough background for theWolfman flowboard. The 'camera' will slowly zoom in, pull out, and pan over these backgrounds, creating the illusion of movement.
