The Black Market Show is a uniquely fascinating and equally crazy late night 'infomercial' starring comedian & magician, David Merry. This logotype was designed for the Toronto advertising agency, Shore Creative Inc, who produce the show and who took this basic rough artwork to a sparkling finish.

Kraven the Hunter |
Kraven the Hunter really just wanted Peter Parker in his trophy case. A Russian, Sergei Kravinoff was a relentless, ego driven big game hunter who grew to covet Spiderman as his ultimate prize. The obsession lured him to the concrete jungle of New York where he remained committed to his goal. Kraven was the creation of Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. He first appeared in The Amazing Spiderman #15, August, 1964.

Hawkeye sketch |
Clint Barton was an orphaned child who ran off with the circus. Over his many years with the Carson Carnival of Travelling Wonders he developed into a superior athlete & martial artist, master swordsman & archer. Inspired by Ironman, Barton became Hawkeye, a masked 'superhero', even though he possessed no real powers. Like Spiderman, he was initially believed to be a villain. Finally, assisted by Ironman, he joined the Avengers. Hawkeye was created by Stan Lee and artist, Don Heck. He first appeared in Tales of Suspense in September, 1964.
